Peer Review Process

ZhongYu International Education is committed to publishing high-quality, credible, and impactful academic research. We recognize that a rigorous and transparent peer review process is essential for ensuring the academic integrity and reliability of scholarly publications. To uphold this standard, we have established a strict double-blind peer review policy across all journals published under our platform.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process. Review reports are confidential and are not publicly disclosed. ZhongYu International Education does not accept reviewer suggestions from authors.

To maintain objectivity and avoid potential conflicts of interest, peer reviewers must not be affiliated with the same institution as any of the authors, and must not have served as mentors, collaborators, or co-investigators with the authors within the past three years.

The peer review process includes the following stages:

Initial Check
Upon submission, the managing editors conduct a preliminary assessment of the manuscript. This includes checking for plagiarism (via iThenticate), structural completeness, and alignment with the academic scope and ethical standards of ZhongYu International Education. Manuscripts that fail to meet these standards will be rejected at this stage.

Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts passing the initial check are assigned to at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, research background, and experience, ensuring a fair and impartial review process.

Review Reports Submission
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript thoroughly and provide detailed, constructive feedback. If supplementary materials are submitted, they are reviewed with the same level of scrutiny as the main manuscript.

Final Editorial Decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on the reviewers' evaluations. Possible decisions include:

Accept – The manuscript is approved for publication and proceeds to production.

Revisions Required (Minor Revision) – The author must revise and resubmit the manuscript within 7–14 days. The revised version will be re-evaluated by the editor.

Resubmit for Review (Major Revision) – The author is required to revise the manuscript more extensively and resubmit it within 14–30 days for a new round of peer review.

Reject – The manuscript is declined and the author is notified.

All accepted manuscripts are considered to have successfully completed the peer review process. Before online publication, they will undergo text editing, layout formatting, and proofreading. Authors will receive a final proof for approval to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the content.

ZhongYu International Education’s peer review policy is designed to ensure that all publications meet high academic standards through a professional, fair, and transparent review process. We deeply appreciate the support and efforts of our reviewers and authors, who contribute to the continued excellence of our publications.

Appeals

Authors may appeal a rejection decision by writing to contact@zycentre.com, providing a clear rationale for the appeal along with a point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments. Appeals will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief based on the available evidence. All appeal decisions are final.
